Five Iron Golf has redefined indoor golf, pairing Trackman-fitted simulator bays with full-service bars, a scratch kitchen, and a nightlife-caliber design that draws serious players and first-timers alike. We are proud to announce the completion of Five Iron Golf’s reimagined Flatiron flagship at 605 Avenue of the Americas in New York, New York—a return to the neighborhood where the brand opened its very first venue with four simulators, now rebuilt at flagship scale. Designed for long hours, heavy traffic, and hard use, this space had to perform as a training facility and a hospitality destination at the same time.
Our team delivered a comprehensive two-level interior buildout across 12,250 square feet. The scope included 12 Trackman-powered simulator bays with dedicated projection framing, screen enclosures, and hitting mats; two full-service bars with custom millwork and arched, backlit back-bar displays; a full commissioned kitchen and service areas; a putting green; a Callaway Tour Fitting studio; a locker room with showers; and ADA-compliant restrooms. New HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage systems run throughout the venue, along with an 18-television A/V package, theatrical lighting, acoustic separation between bays, coordinated exposed-ceiling mechanicals, and specialty flooring engineered to stand up to spikes, foot traffic, and a busy bar.
The design leans on 1920s Art Deco detailing set against a contemporary downtown New York palette, and our team built the venue around it—textured feature walls and columns, custom paneling and casework, and the framing, lighting, and surface prep required for the commissioned murals and original artwork that anchor the lounge. Every detail was intentional, from the sightlines between the bays and the bar to the durability of every surface a club or a cocktail might reach. Two-level circulation, back-of-house coordination, and a street-level storefront on one of Manhattan’s busiest avenues all had to be resolved without compromising the guest experience.
